Whole milk yogurt vs. low fat yogurt, whole milk vs. skim everything. For so long in our country we have been told to eat fat free everything in order to reduce our risks of diabetes, heart disease, and obesity. Well guess what? More studies have proven the opposite to be true.

Whole milk, cheese, butter, and yogurt are more beneficial for us in more ways than one. And, here are just a few reasons why.....
(1) Whole milk REDUCES our risk of diabetes, heart disease and yes, cancer!......
(2) Fat in whole milk helps us absorb fat soluble vitamins which include vitamins A, D, E, K......
(3) Our brain needs fat. Our brain is 60% fat. Healthy cells need fat......
(4) High in Omega 3 fatty acids.......
(5) Important for our muscles to be strong.....
(6) Good fat helps our skin glow and our hair shine.....
(7) Good fat fills you up. You will stay satisfied longer.

Of course grass fed, organic yogurt, cheese, butter and milk are even more beneficial and in moderation like everything else. Boy, sometimes it is not easy finding whole milk plain yogurt in the grocery. So, there it is, seven reasons why whole milk is better than low fat (not to mention all the added sugar in low fat).
